After the new year Chris and I were able (thanks to our families) take a 10 day child free vacation.  The last child-free vacation that we had was before Sam was conceived so it was time for us to remember what it was like to be a couple without a munchkin in tow.

Our quick trip to NYC ended early in the morning on a train to Syracuse.  Thanks again to the nice Metro worker who helped a confused tourist with her 2 yr old on her back down the escalator at Penn Station.  You have no idea how much you made my day.

Sam and I left Arlington the morning the truck was packed.  It was a bit emotional for me to say good bye but there is nothing like getting motion sick on the bus to NYC to take that feeling away quickly.
